Summer Hockey Fun!

Normally Summer Hockey includes Mini Sticks Year 3/4, Kiwi Sticks Development Year 5/6 and Kiwi Sticks Year 5/6, but due to COVID and venue availability it is working a bit differently in 2022.

WHAT: Summer Hockey is a fun, a bit more casual form of hockey. Term 4 only offers Kiwi Sticks. The games are 20-minute halves played on half a turf. The kiwi sticks grade has seven players including a padded goalie.

WHEN: Tuesday afternoon’s, the first round is 4 pm. Season Dates: 1st Nov – 6th Dec

WHERE: Park Island, Napier

WHO: Year 5/6 children

FEES: $30 per child 

UNIFORM: Player’s supply own school Performance Shirt, shin pads, blue knee-high socks, navy/dark blue shorts/skort, mouth guard and appropriate sports shoes for turf surface.

COACHING: Support required to coach and manage the team at their Wednesday afternoon sessions and run training’s if you wish. An adult umpire is required. Training and resources supplied by the school.
