When a sport is cancelled due to the weather, the sports organisation (e.g. Hawkes Bay Cricket) will put a post on their facebook page and contact the sports coordinator for the schools involved.

Erica Cranswick (HNPS Sports Coordinator) will then put a post on the HNPS facebook page and send an alert through the school app for those that have subscribed to that particular sport. E.g. netball subscribers will be sent the netball alerts.
