Orienteering

Held on: 24th June

WHO: Primary school-aged children Y3-6 (However children must be confident to read a map and complete the course on their own, no adults will be allowed on the course this year).

WHAT: The events are designed for students to have a go at orienteering. This is a short course.

WHEN: 24th June

COST: $10.00 per child, includes SI card hire ($100 fee if SI card is lost).

Messages from HB Orienteering:

Leave your dogs at home, they are not welcome at our events.
Do not smoke at our events, cigarettes pose a great fire risk.
Take all rubbish home with you, leave only your footprints.

WHAT: The events are designed for students to have a go at orienteering. Prior orienteering experience is not required however being able to read a map is handy. The students will be in teams of 3 and will do a third of the course each.

COST: $10.00 total, includes SI hire cost. The replacement cost for a lost SI card is $100.
