The Year 3 team had a great day at Cape Kidnappers visiting the gannets. A huge thank you to the teachers for their organisation and the amazing group of parents who supported us. The tractor ride out there was a lot of fun and the kids learnt a lot, including about fault-lines (as in the picture attached), rock layers and why the Napier beach is so stoney. It was a bit of a haul to get up the hill to the gannets, but it was worth it as the view was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better day weather-wise. Well done everyone!
