PEAK TRAIL BLAZER UPDATE – 12km Te Mata Peak Trail Run Cancelled

The Peak Trail Blazer Committee would like to give you all an update on where we are at with the Peak Trail Blazer in these uncertain times.

The current COVID-19 Delta outbreak and accompanying lockdowns and restrictions continue to present a challenging time for events.

We have made the difficult decision to cancel the Te Mata Peak Trail, offering refunds, deferrals to next year (Nov 20th) or a virtual event. An email to these participants will be sent over the next few days outlining the details.

However, we are planning to still run the Tainui Trail. This event will look quite different from previous years and will be run in age and gender categories, to ensure we meet the level 2 guidelines. It will also start and finish at Tainui this year.

The Peak Trail Blazer is a 100% fundraising event, which is this year raising funds for Re-Source Charity and Havelock North Primary.

The Peak Trail Blazer Committee will keep everyone updated on the Tainui Trail plans and thank you for your support.
