Wasn’t it great to have the wet weather recently. I have been trying to grow a lawn since November so the rain really helped. Much more importantly it is also a huge relief to farmers.
This week we welcome new students Ellie Kumar, and Giselle Ngaronoa. Well done on making a great start to school.
Tomorrow and Thursday of this week we have Learning Conferences for Year 4-6 children. Please click on the link and use the code z8kem to book a time if you have not already. https://www.schoolinterviews.co.nz/ School will finish at the normal time of 3pm on both these days.
The Family Picnic has been rescheduled for Thursday 6th April at 5.30pm.
Please remember it is a privilege for us to use the Function Centre carpark. It is important as a community we respect that the carpark may not always be available to us and refrain from using it when they have events. Please also respect the yellow lines are there for safety reasons. Apparently families are parking on these regularly.
On Monday Havelock North School hosted the District Swimming Sports. I was very proud of our children and the fact they gave it 100%. I would also like to thank Mr Kinsey for the overall coordination of the event and the many families who came out in support of the children. Well done everyone!
Have a great week.
