BASKETBALL 2022 TERM 3

Designed for children to experience basketball competition at a level appropriate for their age, with fast and fun games in divisions of Yr 3&4 and Yr 5&6. Smaller courts and lowered hoops are utilised depending on the division of each team. Games being at approx 4pm and are half-hour duration, finishing by 7:00 pm. New and existing players welcome.

WHEN: (Year 3/4 – 3v3) Thursdays, Games from 4.00 pm. A draw from the association will confirm times – see HB Basketball website.

(Year 5/6 – 5v5) Tuesdays, Games from 4.00pm.A draw from the association will confirm times – see HB Basketball website.

SEASON DATES: 4th August – 29th September (Year 3/4), 2nd August – 20th September (Year 5/6)

WHERE: Hastings Sports Centre (Railway Rd, Hastings).

FEES: $40 per child

UNIFORM: Player’s supply own school Performance Shirt, navy/dark blue shorts, ankle sports socks and appropriate non-marking court/sports shoes for the indoor surface.

COACHING: Support required for all teams, new and existing coaches welcome.  Resources supplied by the school, no umpiring required as this is done by representatives from the Basketball Association.
