On 1st and 2nd August we have interviews for Year 4-6 students and some other students who are receiving their Year 1-3 anniversary reports. This is a change this year with the Year 1-3 reports going out at the time of the National Standard benchmark, then being followed up with an interview. This is a trial for 2017 and we will be seeking some feedback on how this is working from a parent perspective. The reason for this change was so families get information at the time of the National Standard, rather than receiving historic information. If you have not booked interviews you can do so through the website www.schoolinterviews.school.nz and entering the code p8tjp. These interviews begin at 1.00pm next Tuesday (1st August) and we would really appreciate you collecting your children at 12.30pm that day to allow teachers to commence the interviews at 1.00pm. We do realise that for some families this is not possible, so Room 20 will be the base for those children staying at school for the afternoon. We ask you contact either the school office or your child’s teacher should your children need to stay at school. On Wednesday the 2nd August school reverts to the normal finish time of 3pm. Thank you for your support with this.
